Winnipeg Fashion Week
The red carpet is being prepped for the first ever Winnipeg Fashion Week, with well-known fashion designers and industry movers and shakers converging on the city. The newest Canadian fashion week event will be April 19 to 28, and will showcase the latest trends for the ...spring/summer 2012-2013 season.
April 19
The Ronald McDonald House presents The Ronald McDonald House Fashion Show at the Winnipeg Convention Centre featuring fashions from Polo Park. A night of fashion for a great cause! The Ronald McDonald House is a home away from home for out of town families whose children are undergoing treatment for life-threatening illnesses at the Children's Hospital. The fashion show is produced by Pro-Creations. Fashion show at 7:30 p.m. Location: The Winnipeg Convention Centre, 375 York Ave. For tickets or more information, please call 774-4777.

St Paul's High School presents the Mardi Gras Fashion Show & Fundraiser at the Victoria Inn featuring a group of Winnipeg's finest retailers including Winnipeg designer Julie Pederson. Proceeds from the fashion show go toward the Magis Fund, a fund that provides financial assistance to students who cannot otherwise afford to participate as fully as they would like to in school life at St. Paul's.
